Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Interlaken
Arrive at Zurich Airport and take the scenic train to Interlaken. Meet your guide and fellow travelers for a welcome dinner at a traditional Swiss restaurant. Overnight in Interlaken.
Day 2: Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe
Morning train to Grindelwald, then ascend to Jungfraujoch via the famous cogwheel railway. Explore the Ice Palace, Sphinx Observatory, and enjoy breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier. Return to Interlaken for dinner. Walking: 2-3 hours, easy pace
Day 3: Lauterbrunnen Valley & Trümmelbach Falls
Travel to Lauterbrunnen and hike through the valley past stunning waterfalls. Visit the incredible Trümmelbach Falls, Europe’s only underground waterfall accessible by lift. Optional paragliding in the afternoon. Hiking: 4-5 hours, moderate
Day 4: Travel to Zermatt

Day 5: Gornergrat & Matterhorn Views
Morning ride on the Gornergrat Railway to 3,089m for unparalleled views of 29 peaks over 4,000m. Afternoon hike to Riffelsee Lake for iconic Matterhorn reflections. Farewell dinner in Zermatt. Hiking: 3-4 hours, moderate
Day 6: Free Day in Zermatt
Choose your adventure: additional hiking, visit the Matterhorn Museum, relax at the spa, or take the cable car to Klein Matterhorn for glacier skiing. Your guide will provide recommendations.
Day 7: Departure
Breakfast at hotel, then group transfer to Zurich Airport for departure. Optional extension available for additional nights in Zurich.
Accommodation
You’ll stay in carefully selected 3-star hotels in Interlaken and Zermatt, all with private facilities and convenient access to transportation. Hotels are subject to change but will be of similar standard.
Physical Requirements
This tour requires good physical condition. Participants should be comfortable walking 3-5 hours daily on varied terrain at moderate altitude. Some hikes involve elevation gains of 300-500 meters.
